Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Evenbatch ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Evenbatch website and application (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. Name, email address, and authentication data, collected when you sign up (managed through our authentication provider, Clerk).
- Business data you enter. Inventory items, bills of materials, lots, production runs, purchase orders, invoices, customers, and suppliers that you create in the Service.
- QuickBooks Online data. If you connect QuickBooks Online, we access and store the accounting records needed for synchronization (such as items, invoices, and bills) via Intuit's official API using OAuth 2.0. We never receive or store your QuickBooks password.
- Billing information. Subscription and payment status. Card details are collected and processed by our merchant of record, Paddle — we never see or store your full card number.
- Usage and log data. Standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps) used for security and to operate and improve the Service.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including QuickBooks synchronization you approve.
- To process subscriptions and payments.
- To send transactional emails such as account, billing, and security notices.
- To provide customer support.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your business data for advertising.
3. Service providers (processors)
We rely on a small number of service providers to run the Service. Each processes data only as needed to perform its function:
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Clerk | Authentication and user accounts | Name, email, sign-in credentials and sessions |
| Paddle | Payments and subscription billing (merchant of record) | Billing name, email, payment details, transaction records |
| Railway | Application and database hosting | All Service data, encrypted in transit and at rest |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery | Email address and message content |
| Intuit QuickBooks | Accounting integration (only if you connect it) | Accounting records synchronized with your QuickBooks Online company |
4. Data retention and deletion
- We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
- You can export all of your data as CSV at any time, free of charge.
- You can delete your account and data yourself, or request deletion at support@evenbatch.com. We delete or anonymize data within a reasonable period after account deletion, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records).
- You can disconnect QuickBooks Online at any time, which revokes our API access.
5. Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and authenticated. The QuickBooks connection uses Intuit's OAuth 2.0, so we never handle your QuickBooks password. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your data.
6. Cookies
The application uses cookies that are necessary for authentication and session management. The marketing site does not use advertising cookies.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@evenbatch.com. We respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.
8. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses maintained by our providers.
9. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or through the Service before it takes effect. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
